Atlanta United sign Paulo Díaz from River Plate

Paulo Díaz has joined Atlanta United after rescinding his contract with River Plate. The defender has signed a two-year deal with the MLS side, which includes an option to extend for two more seasons. Díaz departs River Plate after seven years, having made 222 appearances and winning seven domestic titles. The move allows the Argentine club to clear the final 18 months of his contract.(Olé)
